AWASHIS OJHA : A WHISKY KINDA GUY
“I have a select group of people who I drink with,” explained Awashis Ojha, Senior Manager-Marketing at Laxmi InterContinental Pvt.Ltd. “I think it’s more about the company than what you have in your glass.” And we agree. Not everyone has to be an expert fine wine connoisseur or Scotch critic to enjoy a little booze and Awashis exemplifies this concept perfectly. Having worked in the media, advertisement and auto industry of Nepal, Awashis Ojha has plenty of experience under his belt and is one of the most charismatic professionals around.
Not one to shy away from a little fun, Awashis went on to clarify how his interests have shifted over the years, “I’ve grown out of my party days and I’ve cut down on drinking. I will occasionally knock down a few with my close pals but at other gatherings I prefer to hold on to a drink and chat.”
Nevertheless, he doesn’t mind a glass of whiskey once in a while; even more so if it’s a Glenfiddich or Jameson. You’re always in good company when you’re with Awashis and ended up talking for quite some time; he opted for a glass of whiskey and we decided to go for a few of Irish Pub’s special whiskey cocktails.

Jameson whiskey: 60ml Crème menthe 30ml Crème cacao 30ml Whipped cream 40ml Served in a martini glass, garnished with cherry and lemon peel.
