Weekend Getaways INSIDE KATHMANDU FIRST EDITION
There are times when we find ourselves complaining about having nothing to do around here. Restaurant hopping, or just going out for drinks gets old fast. Kathmandu is so small, you just end up seeing the same people over and over again. It might be well and good for most people, but it just isn’t our cup of tea.
So we decided to go around and see what there was to do around in Kathmandu that doesn’t confine you to one spot. Here are some of the cool spots that we think you should hit if you’re looking forward to an exciting and active weekend with your closest buddies.
FUTSAL GRASSROOTS RECREATIONAL CENTER
Grassroots Recreational Center houses one of the oldest futsal grounds of Kathmandu. They have recently changed the turf so it is as good as new. Plus if you have a lot of people coming they have the option to join the two grounds and play 7 a-side.
