7 LIFE-CHANGING SHOE HACKS
Here are seven easy breezy tricks to help you protect your shoes that can be done by using household products. Your shoes won’t be the same anymore and so will your lifestyle!
1.WET SHOES
Stuff soaking- wet shoes with newspaper and dry them away from direct heat. Direct heat can dry the leather too fast, causing it to crack — and once that happens, nothing can save your shoes.
2.HOW TO CLEAN CANVAS SNEAKER SHOES
The 50/50 mixture of water and lemon juice works for canvas, too, but for more serious stains, mix a tablespoon of baking soda with a touch of water and rub the sticky paste onto the offending spots. Wipe dry.
3.SMELLY SHOES?
- Insert dry tea bags and leave them inside overnight.
- Lemon Peel also absorbs the foul odor
- Leaving Naphthalene balls overnight also fights the odor away.
4.LEATHER SHOES?
In order to protect your shoes for a longer period apply a generous amount of oil (any oil in the kitchen preferably mustard oil but any oil will do the trick) after brushing it and before applying the polish. Leave it on the sun for around 30 mins and start applying polish. This will keep your shoes clean for a longer period of time and save you from the cracking and peeling.
