Oh Goody! Summer is here. That means the season of bikini clad hotties is back! And we’re bringing it back with a bang! The scorching hot Alka Rai sizzles on our feature and we talk to the young maiden who is currently studying law. Beauty with brains… we like that. Might as well commit a crime and call ourselves a lawyer.

As a model what kind of experiences have you had?

It’s been two years since I started modeling and I have experienced a lot. The chance to work with many talented directors, designers and photographers was a blessing. I started off as a Nepal Fashion Week runway model and till now it has been an amazing experience. I’ve been featured in various different magazines and music videos and this wide range of work has helped me develop professionally as well as in terms of personal grooming. Being one of the top 5 candidates as the face of Classic Diamond boosted my confidence. It has been an amazing journey so far and I hope to take this side of my career to the next level.

Can you tell us about your best experience you’ve had?

My best modeling assignment till today is working with director Ian Clement for two different music videos. It was such a great learning period for me and I learned a lot about various aspects of working ethics and other great techniques during the shoots with him.

What do you prefer diamonds or chocolate?

I’m not a big fan of either of them but if I had to, I would choose diamonds. Logically, I can sell diamonds and get as many chocolates as I want. (Laughs)

If you are given a free pass, which place on earth would you go to?

I’d go to Ashford, Kent which is located at United Kingdom to see my boyfriend. (Our hearts shattered into a million pieces)

As a kid, were you skinny or chubby?

I was a normal girl (laughs) and I am still am. Now I work out regularly to stay fit just like almost everyone else. It’s not about being skinny, it’s about being healthy and staying fit.

What’s the most mischievous prank that you have played on someone?

Well, like Taylor Swift says “Baby I am a nightmare dressed as a day dream”, I have had my hands full with tiny pranks which I solely only play it on with my close ones.

So when it comes down to THE most notorious one I would have to say once when I was drunk, I waxed my friend Mahir Malla’s legs while he was sleeping (laughs with an evil smile)

How’d you describe yourself as a person?

I’m a fun loving person, I live, eat and breathe adventure. I love to spend most of my time with my closest friends and my pets. I am one of those crazy dog lovers, you see. There are times I am really high on life and there are times when I am really low. If I care about something, I give it my all and if I don’t I simply don’t.

What’s the cheesiest thing anyone has ever done for you?

A boy literally gave me some cheese once; that’s as cheesy as it has gotten for me.

What kind of music are you into and why?

I like all kinds of music, it depends in the kind of mood I’m in.
