People drink, get drunk then they go into their own circle and create an air of disunity. Thus, came about the creation of Beer pong to unite everyone and instill the spirit of beer. Okay I just made that up but beer pong is an incredibly fun game and now Nepal’s first beer pong tournament is has taken place.

Beer pong is a popular drinking game where two teams attempt to basket ping pong balls in cups placed on their opposing side. Should the ball land in a cup, the other team will have to drink up and remove the cup from the table. The first team to eliminate all of the opponent’s cups is the winner.

The Asahi Beer Pong Tournament is hosted by Mr. Foodie Nepal, a popular Instagram food reviewer/ restaurant consultant. Teams will sign up at their respective venues. Each team consists of 2 players. A team wins basically by knocking out opponent teams at each venue and the last team standing will be the winner.

The event will take place at five different venues.At the first four venues 25th May- Irish Pub, Lazimpat, 1st June – Ventures Cafe, Balwatar, 8th June- Food Truck Park, Naghpokhari, 16th June- Evoke, Jhamsikhel), contestants will battle it out to reach the Grand Finale on 23rd June- Level 3 Terraces, Labim Mall where the winning team will be deemed the champion. The winners will win Asahi 6 packs, gift hampers from Latido Leathers, Chaitanya spa, dinner for 2 at Hyatt residency, dinner for 2 at Yak and Yeti, dinner for two at Radisson, dinner for 2 at Fairfield by Marriot, and Grand Finale prize of 1 night stay a Riverside Spring Resort. Other collaborator and partners are EV, Tuff Stuff and Shangrila.
