KATHMANDU, NEPAL (5 March 2019) – In honour of Women Achievers and

in line with International Women’s Day, Hyatt Regency Kathmandu partnered

with Media 9 Pvt Ltd for the third edition to organise the Hyatt™ WOW Women

Achievers Awards 2019 in line with the International Women’s Day campaign

theme “Think equal, build smart, innovate for change”.

Women from five categories were honoured at the event, which saw the

participation of a distinguished panel that helped select the honourees.

 

The honours were presented in the following categories:

– Entrepreneurship

– Arts

– Social Activism/Service

– Leadership

– Inspiring Woman of the Year

 

Awards were presented by Ms. Anuradha Koirala, founder and director of Maiti
Nepal and Governor of province 3 to Ms. Sajal Pradhan (Entrepreneurship),

Ms. Akanchha Karki (Arts),

Ms. Sita Adhikari (Leadership),

Ms. Padma Khayargoli (Social Service/Activism)

And Ms.Uma Devi Badi (Inspiring Woman of the Year)
