THE LEGGY LASS – SOPHIA SHRESTHA
House of Fashion has been successfully producing some of the most talented models who have shone in the limelight. The vivacious Bidhatri Pokhrel, the stunning Niti Shah and the stunning Neha Banu have reigned supreme and with the 2015 EnVogue done and dusted, a wave of new faces are appearing.
Ayushman and Arpana clinched the titles as the EnVogue face of House of Fashion 2015. Both are off to a blistering start, but a young Sophia Shrestha caught our eye. She was crowned the second runner up in the competition but we see bigger things in her future. We caught up with Sophia to find out more about the young beauty.
So how’s life treating you?
It’s going well. I’m trying out the modeling scene for the first time so things are pretty exciting. I’ve been meeting new people and experiencing new things; that’s always a good thing.
What got you to try modeling? Was it something you always wanted to do?
Fashion has always fascinated me and I’ve always wanted to be a part of it. With House of Fashion’s EnVogue 2015, I saw the opportunity and took it.
What are you up to nowadays?
My studies and a few modeling projects have kept me busy.
Have you had the chance to plan your future?
I definitely want to pursue my studies and get into the business field, but I’d also like to continue modeling.
What is something you have tried, but will never do again?
Bungee jumping, never again. I bought into the hype and took the jump. It was scarier than I had anticipated, especially when you realize you’re jumping off a high bridge with just a big rubber band keeping you from going splat.
What quirky habit do you have?
I tend to listen to the same songs over and over again until I get sick of it.
Are you a trouble maker?
Not really, I don’t think I am a trouble maker. But everyone is entitled to their own opinions.
