Yamaha Music’s exclusive showroom in Naxal, Kathmandu
M.A.W. Music Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributor of Yamaha Music in Nepal, is proud to announce the grand opening of the largest showroom of musical instruments and professional audio systems of Nepal in Naxal, Kathmandu. The state-of-the-art retail outlet was inaugurated by popular musical band 1974AD.
The new showroom will display the entire line of Yamaha musical instruments, professional audio systems, and audio visual equipment along with musical accessories from renowned international companies such as Konig & Meyer and D’Addario.
“We opened our first showroom in Kantipath in 2006, and since then, we have gained insights from music lovers in Kathmandu surely need a larger and more comprehensive outlet to cater to their needs. Our experience has given us the confidence to open the largest musical equipment outlet of Nepal, and include instruments such as the saxophone and trumpet in our line-up that were previously not available here” said Saloni Sethia Agarwal, Executive Director of M.A.W. Music Pvt. Ltd. “We are proud to be associated with Yamaha, the world’s leading music instruments company, and we hope that the new outlet will do justice to their musical pedigree and to music instrument players across Nepal.”
The new showroom is centrally located in Naxal, opposite the Police Head-Quarter Petrol Pump and is stocked with a variety of world-class musical instruments – from guitars, keyboards, percussion instruments, pianos and drums to amplifiers, live sound, home theatre stations, cinema stations and recording equipments.
Dedicated staffs with deep knowledge about musical instruments will be present at the store to help customers with their selection and for the first time in Nepal, sound-designing is available to institutional customers. Similarly, Yamaha Music showroom will provide musical environment where music enthusiast will get chance to touch, feel and experience the quality music from Yamaha instruments.
The launch of the new showroom saw performances fromYuuki Shimada, a Yamaha Music International Demonstrator from Japan, Kiran Shahi from Jindaabad, Silver Serenade and others.
The origins of Yamaha Music date back to 1887, when company founder Torakusu Yamaha repaired an imported reed organ at an elementary school. Shortly thereafter, he successfully completed the first reed organ to be built in Japan. Since then, Yamaha has expanded its product domains to include pianos, wind instruments, string and percussion instruments, and digital musical instruments.
